A comforting Hungarian stew made with tender chicken simmered in a rich, creamy paprika-infused sauce. Traditionally served with nokedli (dumplings) or pasta.

Season chicken thighs with salt and pepper.

Brown chicken in fat over medium-high heat. Remove.

Sauté onions until soft.

Remove from heat. Stir in paprika.

Return chicken, garlic, tomato, and bell pepper to pot. Add broth.

Simmer covered for 40 minutes.

Whisk sour cream and flour. Stir into pot.
