Simple and delicious Neapolitan pizza with fresh tomato sauce, mozzarella di bufala, and basil leaves.

    Place a pizza stone in the oven and preheat to its highest setting (usually 500°F-550°F / 260°C-290°C) for at least 30 minutes.

    On a lightly floured surface, stretch the pizza dough gently into a 10-12 inch circle.

    Spread the marinara sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a 1-inch border for the crust.

    Arrange the fresh mozzarella slices on top of the sauce.

    Carefully transfer the pizza onto the hot pizza stone (or baking sheet) in the oven.

    Bake for 8-10 minutes until the crust is charred and cheese is bubbling.
