A comforting bowl of ramen with a rich miso broth, tender pork, and fresh toppings.

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. 1

Bring a pot of water to a boil and cook ramen noodles according to package instructions, usually 3-4 minutes. Drain and rinse with cold water.

  2. 2

In a separate soup pot, cook the ground pork over medium-high heat for 5-6 minutes until browned and cooked through.

  3. 3

Pour in the chicken stock and bring the mixture to a gentle simmer (200°F / 93°C).

  4. 4

Reduce heat to low. Whisk in the miso paste until fully dissolved, being careful not to let the soup boil vigorously as this can affect the miso's flavor.

  5. 5

Add corn kernels and simmer for another 2 minutes until heated through.

  6. 6

Allow the broth to cool slightly and stir.

  7. 7

Divide the cooked noodles between serving bowls. Ladle the hot broth and pork over the noodles.

  8. 8

Top each bowl with a halved soft boiled egg and chopped green onions. Serve hot.
