Juicy chicken thighs glazed in a homemade sweet and glossy teriyaki sauce served over steamed rice and broccoli.

    In a small saucepan, combine soy sauce, mirin, sake, sugar, ginger, and garlic. Bring to a boil.

    Reduce heat and simmer for 4 minutes. Stir in cornstarch slurry and cook until thickened. Set aside.

    Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat with a little oil.

    Add chicken pieces and cook until browned and cooked through (about 6-8 minutes).

    Pour the teriyaki sauce over the chicken and toss to coat evenly. Simmer for 1 minute together.
