    Reheat the prepared unagi fillets in the oven or microwave until hot.

    Place hot steamed rice into bowls.

    Brush unagi with extra unagi sauce while warm.

    Place unagi fillets on top of the rice.

    Pour any remaining sauce over the rice.

    Sprinkle with sansho pepper and serve.
