    Wrap tortillas in damp paper towels and microwave for 30-60 seconds to make them pliable.

    Place a spoonful of chicken filling on one edge of a tortilla and roll it up tightly.

    Secure the roll with a toothpick if needed.

    Heat about 1 inch of oil in a skillet to 350°F (175°C).

    Fry the flautas in batches, seam side down first, until golden brown and crispy (about 2-3 minutes per side).
