Crispy golden fried potato pancakes made with shredded potatoes, onions, and eggs. A traditional Hanukkah treat that is delicious year-round.

    Peel and coarsely grate potatoes and onion.

    Place mixture in a towel and squeeze out as much liquid as possible.

    Transfer to a bowl. Mix in eggs, flour, salt, pepper, and baking powder.

    Heat oil in a skillet to 375°F (191°C) (190°C).

    Fry dollops of mixture for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown.
